Powder Metal-based Duplex Stainless Steels.

Introducing our groundbreaking development – a new high-corrosion resistant Powder Metal-based product specially designed for challenging environments. At Sintex, we have dedicated several years to create a world-class corrosion-resistant PM Duplex Stainless Steel component.

Duplex Stainless-Steel grades provide an outstanding blend of strength and corrosion resistance, enabling substantial reductions in material thickness and cost across various applications.

Leveraging the material’s mechanical strength offers the potential to decrease weight and cost by utilizing thinner materials. Additionally, the low nickel content in the duplex grades ensures price stability.

Currently, our Duplex component is still an innovation activity, why we happily invite potential partners into a mutual development cooperation in order to develop the component towards specific applications.

The Technology of Powder Metallurgy.

Powder metallurgy utilizes uniaxial compaction, also known as sintering technology. This technology competes with deep drawing, precision moulding, forging and sheet design, including punching.

In comparison to the other processes, sintering technology excels in simplicity.
Sintering technology combines multiple processes to be combined and completed in just a few steps. Furthermore, this technology is recognized as a green process with minimal waste, with typically no more than 2-3% waste in the process. Thus, it represents an environmental and economically attractive alternative.
